Dennis Voelkel focuses his practice in two general areas — Business Transactions & Estate Planning.
He represents small and medium size businesses, investors, business executives and professionals in a wide variety of transactional and corporate matters. From consulting with clients about the business structure that best meets their needs to selling the business. Dennis offers practical legal advice aimed at maximizing profits and minimizing risk. Common issues include sales and acquisitions, real estate sales and leases, business formations, financing, risk assessment and minimization, employment agreements, buy-sell agreements, business succession plans, dispute resolution, product sales and distribution arrangements, and agreements for protection of intellectual property rights and confidential information.
Dennis advises clients on estate planning matters. He consults with clients to assist them in identifying their estate planning objectives and then in designing an estate plan that fulfills those objectives. Dennis emphasizes that every client is unique and therefore requires an estate plan uniquely designed for their particular circumstances and goals.
Dennis and his staff also assist clients in administering the trusts and estates of their loved ones, recognizing the client’s goals of doing so efficiently and in a timely manner.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Dennis was a financial analyst in the commodity industry in Chicago.
